Me!(❀❛ ֊ ❛„)♡

This is just a quick overview of me for the people who aren't interested in reading my paragraphs!

⇢ ˗ˏˋ About Me!࿐ྂ

Hello! My name is Cetacea (she/her), and I am the creator of this site! I started learning HTML and CSS around two weeks ago (July 21) through FreeCodeCamp, and decided to build a website!

Well, I was really inspired by Geocities Archive, and just loved the personalization and unique looks of late 90's-early 2000's sites. The main catalyst was a video I saw on Net Art, and I originally wanted to make an interactive kind of page, but I haven't learned that yet. Maybe I will try later.

The main thing I hope to feature on this website is articles about various cetaceans, because I feel like not enough people love whales and dolphins! Whales are my special interest, and I'd love to educate other people on how awesome they are. Other than that, I might feature poetry! I write poetry on my free time, and would like to upload them soon someday. I just have to write a poem I actually like!

Thank you for taking an interest in my website! I prefer to be more mysterious, so this won't really be a diary kind of website. I'm working very slowly but hopefully soon all the links will be up and running!

Faves!♡

I'm not sure if I have a favorite whale, but my favorite book is Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. I like a lot of poems/poets, and I write my own (may upload later). Some of the ones I like are Sylvia Plath, Robert Frost, and Shel Silverstein. Right now I am also enjoying American Poetry: The Twentieth Century, Volume 1 and Handbook of Whales, Dolphins, and Porpoises by Mark Cawardine. Hopefully one day I learn how to code someway for my site visitors to interact/leave me a message, so that I can hear your guys' book/other types of media recommendations!
